Every time they twinkle

Listen when they blink

a little to what they say.

You will treasure it today and forever.

Look deeper into them

past the Milky Way.

To the heart.

Galaxy to cluster two stars outshine

every other.

In the day they are blue.

When the sun dies,

the shade falls to darkness

until morning.

They beam the light again.

The most glistening stars

withstand the test

of time,

The blue endures.

The sky is timeless.

One glance, a peek

I am lost

I lose track of

how long I am there

in the sky.

We forget the moon is out in the day

All are awake and ready to play

The sun opposes its right

But the moon refuses to go away

It is almost noon

Clouds drift in to delay

They hide the dull moonlight

Those same clouds will never stay

In one place above the vast bay

Stubborn moon

I thought you only came out at night

seduce my ignorant mind

marry it with knowledge

your words rest on my ear

they are pulled through on a metal cord

cold and sharp at first but warming

I will always hear

the keys at your side

send chills up my spine

the power to open the world

with Only words, Only words

I think of when you’re not near

and of the trophy won

       I cannot believe the genuineness

oh teacher dear

    reach my deepest soul—take it

enrich it with a new understanding

this is my life but just

half of yours unknown

must I choose one over the other

I am like the cactus

    She stores her tears inside

until they are needed

Do not touch

Do not caress

I will stick you

Watch

Suddenly she sprouts

no one knew

a flower would bloom

Hiding in the desert
